The Wagon Wheel Ranch has been producing high quality performance Quarter Horses for over 25 years. Although the ranch specializes in breeding and training cutting horses, we have produced horses that have excelled in other disciplines including reining, barrel racing, roping, equitation, and trail.

Our breeding program is based on our foundation sire Doc's Sug by Doc Bar and Bar Gal. Doc's Sug was one of only two sons of Doc Bar who became an AQHA Champion. He was also a AQHA Registry of Merit (ROM), an NCHA money earner, and a Halter and Performance Point Earner. His Equi-State cutting Offspring Life Time Earnings is $2,254,255 and NCHA LTE is $1,879,110. He is also #38 AQHA All-time leading sires by the number of registered progeny.
     
Doc's Sug's outstanding offspring include: Cutters Fellow, Doc Dorsett, Doc Lancaster, Doc Ware, Docs Arky Sug (1996 World Champion Senior Cutting), Personality Doc (1995 AQHA World Champion Senior Cutting), Sugar Gay Bar, Sugs Gay Bar, and Sugs Gay Lady.
